Keep the fire burning

Well..as a person grows older (yet wiser)...the flame of youth will flicker like a wind blowing a lighted oil lamp.

On and off we feel like losing vitality and youth to the ever demanding day work and ever growing responsibilities..BUT for all sake we need to keep it burning!

One way is to add some oil to it..meaning that to spice up our daily lives with some form of excitement and looking forward to newer daily challenges and also to inject more youthful or kid-like thoughts into ourselves.

The heart is willing but the flesh is weak..that is what we heard always when we go down the path of ageing..but fear not, it is always not so bad at all.

Yeah..we are a bit slow sometimes and forgetful most of the time, maybe due to rapidly dying brain cells? No doubt it is due to the ageing factor...but we still need to strive and work hard to maintain the pace, not to make it slower. Once everything stops..be it dreams, hope,faith,goals..the rest will follows.

It's pathetic when there are no longer dreams to dream, hope to realise, faith to hold and goals to achieve in our lives...it is as good as death. Once we lose everything while we are still alive, we are only a walking zombie, not human.

So...I need to remind myself of all these things, that's the reason to put it into words to reinforce the idea.

Let's get on to life and enjoy while we can, peace to all!

Yeah this one also sold at Fotolia..cool waves isn't it? I took this photo when I went to Pulam Ketam (my virgin photog trip) with a bunch of nice photographers last year.

Hope to go often to shoot other places but have to find time and get my permits approved by the 'Home Minister' and the Cabinets first :p

Do I owe them a living? What farking service they provided me? What freaking good deeds they have done to build the nation other than conducting road blocks, jacking up the inflation rate through their 'brilliant' ideas, doing fucked-up vulgar sign right in front of your face and denying it, throwing the nation into a controversial sodomee case, farked up SDs etc etc...

My first PC

This is the ZX81 home computer, released by Sinclair Research (UK). I bought it in the early 80's. The case was black, with a membrane keyboard. Video output was to a television set, and saving and loading programs was via an ordinary home audio tape recorder to audio cassette.

It is a very ancient PC compared with what we are having now but in the 80's this is actually a working PC. Believe it or not the memory is only 1KB RAM..faint...!

I lost it when a fire gutted my shop-house in 1984...sigh! Infact..I lost all my possessions then :(

Hmm..how i wish i can take one during my working days, heard that a 5-10 minutes catnap during lunchtime is so beneficial to you so that you can continue working with high gear the rest of the day...buden i better not, coz my snoring is sensational! Muahahaha!

Turning back the time!

Haiz...life on a fast lane is no fun at all! More work, more responsibilities, more time spent in office, more pressure, more headache, more heartache..but more $$$$$$!!

hehe..but more $$ does not necessarily means more hapiness and more health....it actually works in the reverse..sigh!

Ahhhh..still remember at the point in time when i earned less than RM 1k many years ago...life was fun then...working 9-5 sharp sharp...don't feel like working can call up opis say MC! The rush to a clinic nearby to get one lor! Thats what i call 'Instant MC!'..haiya..now i oso know lots of staff doing that lar, not only me at that time...kekekeke!

Earning less..although cannot enjoy much luxurious lifestyle, not owning more sophisticated electronic gadgets, not having to go to meetings where i got back-stabbed most of the time, don't have to plan, don't have to hire and train, don't have to fight back DOGs...is nice life actually.

But it is difficult to fall back after you have reached some distance...it was like u climbed up a high peak...now try looking down..u will get dizzy isn't it? Aiya..leg oso trembling dunno how to get down lar...how to turn back? Sure fall to death lar if 'kak ngang' want to go down..unless u r really mad and want to do the 'DO or DIE' show...just jump down and hope that you can land safely on someone else's body down there...hmmm...it might be nice if can fall down and land on a curvy figures down there...one wrong step or 'mmm hou choi'..u will sure get to the bottom one...the 18th hell floor i mean...muahahaha..lots of curvy bodies there..coz those bodies of sinners being twisted in hell for wrongdoings..hence u get curvey bodies lor!

Sometimes we need to hitch a ride in the spiritual realms even if it is for a few minutes to stay sane in this mad rushing world. Either by reading the Bible, or reading the Buddhist scriptures might help...when we are in the state of mind of spirituality, we can see some light..not those worldly lights, but eternal lights...then enters calmness....

Fighting not necessarily needs to get physical, it can be mental as well k?
