Before the sun goes down...

Yes, before the sun sets, before I lose the ability to think and write, before Alzheimer's disease strike me in my old age..I know that I must blog about my life as I see it...leaving a legacy to my descendants to read what I think and what I have seen in life.

Blogging makes me think, makes me re-assess my life, makes me draw out my thoughts, makes me express better through words. I like to write therefore I blog!

As I grow older, I can feel that my body and spirit is not as strong as before..it's a sign of ageing. What I am able to do in the last 5 years, I find it a difficult task to handle now. Mental power is getting weaker, the body moves slower, the train of thoughts moves slower as if in slow motion. That is very worrying..

In order to counter the ageing process, I have decided to jog my mental faculty by writing more and see more of what life has to offer..to travel more, to talk to strangers more often, to read more, to love more, to play more, to learn more.

I decide to live in the NOW! To worry less, to savour more of what life can offer me, to go all out to achieve my dreams and desires..yes, I can do it!

Earth..and us

We human beings are supposed to be the smartest being on earth but due to our destructive nature, we are chocking the earth to death by our own doing!

Global warming, widening of the ozone layer above us, unexplained changes in the weather patterns of many countries...these are some of the indications mother earth is telling us that we gotta be careful with what we are doing right now. But as human nature is, we just nod our head and carry on with what we are doing, blind to see the catastrophe that is going to swallow us into the belly of the earth when the time is ripe.

What has been done cannot be undone. We only hope that the time will not come so soon! God saves the world.

Nature's gift are free

Water is a source of life, nature's gift to all beings under the sun. It is said that wherever there is water, there is life!

All things valuable in life usually comes free..like air and water. In the world that we live in now, even these are contaminated to the worst level. The natural water are not safe to drink anymore, they need to be treated. So is air, the more developed human beings are, the worse the air pollution level is.

Mankind has sacrificed the earth for the sake of development and progress. It is too late now to realize that the earth is now very sick due to the plundering of it's natural resources and jungles. Mankind has destroyed the very things that sustains life. The clock is ticking to remind us that sooner or later, man will destroy the very last of the natural resources that the earth holds.

The only wise things to do, to slow down the decaying process is recycling. Hopefully less trees are cut down, less animals are driven out from their natural habitat, less rivers are polluted by indiscriminate dumping of toxic wastes, less fish are dying as the result.

We must protect the earth from further erosion so that our future generations will have a chance to see the trees, to touch the rabbits, to swim in the river, to climb the waterfall...this is the best gift we can give our future generations to come.

Forget about the past...live ahead!

Well, life is like a plate of rice..you eat it when it is served to you, simple as that.

Whether it tastes good or not, is another matter altogether. When you eat to satisfy your hunger without caring much about the taste, you are at the right path. If you eat only when it tastes good, then I can say most of the time, it doesn't taste good at all. This is life with its bitter sweet taste!

Enjoy life while you can, but you must be responsible for all the things that you do. Don't shift the responsiblity to others when things go wrong. Live responsibly, play responsibly!
